It is not a rumour Cap'n. The AFC Forum has occasionaly i.e. from time to time, has resided on this MB today. When you click to enter it, you get:

Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum.

Well, perhaps you don't but I do.

As you can probably deduct from this, I have not been granted the special access EVEN to read topics in that Forum. It would appear however that others have. I have observed "one of the usual suspects" having replied to the Forum and previously the thread had been initiated by "No Posts" whoever that may be. Interestingly "No Posts" must not have even read his/her own post as no reads were recorded at that time.

Meanwhile, back in 'Pleb' land, have you noticed that (as a balancing initiative?) View Frae the Hill has been opened up to Guests?

The AFC Forum is supposed to be some sort of peace and reconciliation Forum and it should do quite well provided they continue to select in secret as they appear to have done so far.

No that did not work.

Cap'n, there must be a Scoop here somewhere.

It is reminicent of the TLM.

For those of you who have not been long enough on this MB to know what a TLM is:

Two Letter Monikers are unsearchable and discouraged.

Posters to the AFC Forum are however generally searchable BUT NOT for their posts in the AFC Forum!

Good Night Cap'n. See you at the 6N Preview on Wednesday perhaps.

Hi Guest. I can see you have replied at last but there is nothing there!

NTW, I have the File, Save As, Web Archive.

And a good night to you too.

Hey, (don't tell anyone) but AFC is back again.

And I still cannot see what (if anything) has been posted!

There has now been 9 reads however and I know at least one of them!

Oh no it doesn't!

Unless my username has been removed from some list today and that is why I cannot see at all now that which I could sometimes see yesterday. There could of course be other explanations for temporary blindness. Where is that Dr. when you need to consult?

Who says I'm in?

But I do have a very good handshake - means I spill most of my drink though. :)
