Still not sure what i need to get freeview and RTE in my kitchen/bedroom.
Think i'm resigned to getting at least one new telly.
Tesco have new small tellies with freeview at about £80 - will an indoor aerial be sufficient to pick up RTE on it?
I could ask in Tescos but i know you folk here will know the best answer.
Anyone got surplice aerial(s) ?

If you want to get RTE you need a TV or box with Freeview HD, not "ordinary" Freeview.

Me granny used to get reception on freeview in E Belfast (castlereagh) with an indoor aerial pre switchover. I'm sure it wouldnt be much different out as far as Tillysburn. >clapping

And therein lies the problem - you'll be hard pushed to get a Freeview HD telly for £80.

Mike rabbit-ears should be grand unless you're in a real black-spot - you probably have near line-of-sight to the transmitter.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?
