i bought my son a ministry of sound one,only128mb to bloody small he can only get 20 odd songs but someone said if i convert it to mp3 files i may get more can i do this/how do you do it :?this guy said i may be able to use the Nero i have???

20 odd-songs sounds about right for a 128MB for MP3s.

Average size of MP3 song is about 5MB.

20x5 = 100.

So they must already be MP3s... sorry about that.

well on the box it says 30mp3/60wma tracks what the hell is a wma track,sorry for being so dence :shock:

windows media. it's just a different audio format.

MP3 files aren't always the same size - it depends on the length of the song, and the quality of the encode process. 30 songs is just an estimate.

You could get more songs on there, but you'd have to reencode all your songs. And that's where something like Nero comes in.

Though Nero isn't an ideal program for this stuff. I can direct you to free software for making MP3s from CD, if you like.

Download the latest Windows Media Player here. You can make MP3 or WMA files from CD with it.
