Switched on to Sky Sports (1. 2, 3) this evening on my cable system - they were not there.
From June 1, Virgin have withdrawn SS's from analogue TV packages citing available bandwidth as the reason. I still get Eurosport and some other channels however.
They cannot move me to digital for a least a week so I am going to have to make alternative arrangements for probably at least 3 Lions games.
The really maddening thing about it is that I only discovered it while testing a new bigger TV!

Was gonna offer you my old "Phantom" box then realised you're going digital. 
Anyway...............some good deals with Virgin at the moment and don't be afraid to haggle with them.
