David Gilliland - hooker - son of Ronnie Gilliland International referee

Schools Cup winner 1976 with Methody (and perhaps in '75 also - can't remember - we won it about 5 years in a row around that time.

Played for Cambridge in varsity match (lost)

Like mant hookers always had plenty to say for himself - party piece - throwing ball from corner flag and hitting goal post (side on - obviously!!)
Not quite, Tevez,

After three in a row, we missed out in 77 (when probably hottest favourites during that time). Came back to win again in 78

I think DG played in 77 too, in what would have been his Oxbridge year (as they did in those days).

Ding Dong, is it not still the best school in NI? How things must have changed?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Don't wish to appear picky but after the hatrick of wins in 74, 75 and 76 the next time MCB won was actually 79 not 78.
