Nolan has got in on the act now with a request for Inst team to record the school song and he will play it on radio, but Methody needn't bother as he won't play theirs, and Inst will wipe the floor with Methody (his words not mine)

Did Nolan go to Inst. If so, that explains a lot.

Horrendous old dirge, and the school rugby song's like the Eton boating song on Mogadon...

Still loathe Methody mind you.

It's the old irrational derby game thing, isn't it? They were the school we always wanted to beat right back from U-13 level.
Not an entirely serious form of loathing it has to be said, just as I don't reckon DHK was literally "gutted" (very messy) by Regent's loss.

The Leister school's cup final is advertised for Setanta but no mention of the Ulster school's cup final on 'Live sport on TV'. BBC1NI usually show it and the McCrory cup; can anyone confirm and tell me the broadcasting times so I can tape them?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Regretfully long past such activity :(

However, at least back then we could have spelt 'Osborne' properly (all you had to do was check the sign that the poster was hung beneath  )
