What's this forum for then, if we can't voice opinion?

It's when you make the same point over and over again. We all know where you stand on NOC. I don't think he's great either, but don't see the need to trample the guys name in the dirt each time it is mentioned?
Personally I thought iHumph was dire..........

I feel no guilt in what I've said, nor do I think it's particularly offensive. I actually said that with the right attitude, he could be DECENT.

Now why did you have to go trampling on the good name that is Humphreys, and insult Ian like that?

Because I said it when he signed and then left it. Why would I want to go trampling over the name of an Ulster player?
LI players.....I don't care about.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh. Now I get it. Let me issue a new statement then.

:red: I, Husky, hereby pledge never to ridicule NOC whilst he is under contract with Ulster Rugby. I pledge to always look for the positives in his performances no matter what. Even if his boot were to fly off mid-punt and break Ruan's neck, I'll look for a silver-lining.

Hello UAFC, I'm a Young rugby player and have just joined up with the forum, thought I'd introduce myself first! :)

Personally NoC will do well here if the forwards can give him a good platform and with the likes of Muller, Touhy, Ferris, etc and with competition with the Young Jacko things should be looking up.

Herring is interesting, mostly because I haven't seen anything of him (i remember when Touhy came I didn't have a clue about him either, therefore i am hoping for the same) so I hope he puts in a few shifts before the Rabo starts.

I am very excited about the coming season and Anscombe showing his worth.

Loki wrote:Herring seems like a very interesting capture though I'd be a little worried for Annett's future with his arrival. However, increased competition for places is always worth having and I think he could be very handy.

NOC...increased squad depth and I feel he will come back a better player. He's here now and he has my support, I hope to see him scoring some vital points in the season to come. :red: :red: :red:
With Best an international guarantee, I think we need 4 senior hookers. We also need to plan for when Brady retires, which surely can't be too far away. Not ideal for Annett maybe, but if he's good enough he should still see gametime.

I dont think we need 4 hookers but i do thinkwl we will see Brady being phased out of the selections, post 6Ns anyway. Herring and Annett will have a good scrap to get his place

SLogan stated at URSC meeting a couple of weeks ago that IRFU would NOT allow ANY of the provinces to bring in a non-Irish qualified 10. Definite no-no!
He also made it clear that most of what has been written in the press about IRFU quotas is very wide of the mark.

We had 4 hookers last year, same for this year, only thing is two are young guys, is it a surprise really we signed someone Herring and have Annett since we are seemingly planning for the future

I was thinking the same as this Herring guy is in for a year to see how good he is and then I would assume if he can hack it at this level will get Bradys contract next year, if not then search out someone else.
