Sarries away it is then....

Re: Sarries away it is then....
Really hope this is at Twickenham now, would be a great day out. Big feed for lunch, pub by the river sunbathing and watching the frog match for the afternoon then march on Twickenham. Am sure the Munster fans over for the weekend would be tempted by cheap tickets too.
The alternative if its at AP will be awful in comparison, and plenty of Ulster fans will miss out on a ticket.
Do the right thing Sarries.

They've been known to broadcast Irish League football matches - so my guess is they show a dog taking a shyte if they had a space to fill. Fortunately for Crusaders and Cliftonville fans all the dogs near a sky TV camera were constipated the other weekend.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"
Re: Sarries away it is then....
Sky do cover Championship. Friday nights, Saturday evenings and maybe Sundays (wouldn't take Sundays as gospel). I'd say, if what the Sarries poster stated is correct, that Sky then don't have their scheduling changes made that far forward then (fair enough - they like to wait to see who's in the mix come the last couple of weeks of the season).
Re: Sarries away it is then....
How much traveling support do we realistically expect?
Assuming they go to AP and we get the full 25% allocation of 3750...
UR/Blazers/Team/Heineken/Corporates/Travel Packages are going to eat up quite a few meaning there could be less than 3k actually for sale.
If they operate a 1 Season ticket - 1 QF ticket arrangement it will be a nightmare for groups and people who want to sit/stand together.- or for an ST holder who wants to buy for a partner/child.
Flights & hotel all booked... fingers crossed I get the bloody tickets now!

I wouldn't anticipate any general sales.

IFA insisted on that when selling the rights to Norn iron matches - SKY didn't want them, but were oblifged to take them to get the international stuff.Cornerfleg wrote:Cap'n Grumpy wrote:Does SKY cover Championship football matches or just premiership?

Why they want the international stuff is another question altogether.
Sadly the days of people using proper English are went

Sarries are required by ERC to give us at least 25% of the tickets, so we'll be allocated roughly 3,750 tickets. I'd like to hope we'll take all of them.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

So our 3750 and their 53 is 3803.ruckover wrote:Sarries are required by ERC to give us at least 25% of the tickets, so we'll be allocated roughly 3,750 tickets. I'd like to hope we'll take all of them.
3803 is not 15000
They would be safer giving themselves their 53, giving away 1000 to the local jews and giving us the rest.
Only chance they will get of an atmosphere beyond a tanoy
Re: Sarries away it is then....
Russ - Various reasons why but Ulster may not even be able to fill their 25% allocation if it's at AP. Sarries should be able to take the rest through various promos/discounts/offers etc.
Plenty on here already saying they'll wait for the semi final (which hopefully we'll have of course).

How many University students are in the UK right now from NI. A feck lot.
How many exNI people now live and work in the UK, particularly the London area. A feck lot.
Simple marketing will allow you to tap into this potential.
The main one being, oh feck, my mates been to 3 games this year and says its amazing, I don't normally get to go unless it's the Xmas game as that's the time I am home with mammy
Bit of common sense Bart.
Our Engrish NI brethren will be hard tasked to go to the semi and final in the Doob.
This to me has always been the people of NI's problem. Oh it cannot be done, it's too hard.
Take a sip of tighten up syrup el barto and man the feck up.
Now, if you, as a decent human being, would call up a mate in England and say, he I can't go, but remember those times back in 62 with WJMcB and the lads, remember how awesome it was. Well they are playing in your neck of the woods.
Do you bit. FGAU Bart! SUFTUM

The QF is over Easter? Then surely we can force our own University students to go! Even the school kids, except the large Belfast schools
