That is well possible however, of course we can only speculate as he was driven out by hateful toads & his family threatened by the scumbegs.BR wrote:He's a much better coach now than when he left here. Swanning on here with his thinly veiled Ulster wit like a wee Trojan horse.
It's widely acknowledged that if he had paid more attention to this forum when he was coaching here we'd be sitting pretty with three Heine Cups already in the bag.
He's only on here fishing for clues on team selection and tactics. Tell themuns nathin
Must say I like him but there was so much nonsense back then & he was driven out in pretty vile circumstances. His experience since then suggests he was a bad guy to lose, all things being equal. He was respected at Castres & has been effective with Sarries - fair play to a good Bangor boy.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Small McCall was always a good coach and a better bloke. That was never the problem. The timing was all wrong and he was too close to many of the players whom he had played with. Stepping up from the assistants post was just a bridge too far at that stage.
Re: How many Saracen fans will come over?
He got glowing references from Solly too which seemed to push him in that direction

Re: How many Saracen fans will come over?
I dare say the Ulster experience probably proved a chastening one in his development. When he was appointed Head Shed he should have been assigned a more experienced forwards coach but we'd overspent and under delivered during the Solly era and there wasnt much cash in the war chest and the FC took the really cheap option....Clarke.

Now saying we're from Luton is very poor form. Luton's not even in Hertfordshire.

Actually for the real posh county set who live there, that is traditionally a silent "t" so the whole thing comes out as a slightly slurry "Haafidsha". Believe me - I know this first hand.Russ wrote:You'll forgive my ignorance with regards to haaaaaart foooooooedsheer but in terms of not giving a feck.
