Ulster Rugby team to play Munster, Development Interprovincial game, Saturday 18 September at IRFU High Performance Centre (4.00pm):

(15-9): Shea O’Brien, Conor Rankin, Ross Taylor, Ben Carson, Conor McKee, James Humphreys, Lewis Finlay;
(1-8): Callum Reid, James McCormick, Joe Mawhinney, Harry Sheridan (Capt), Adam McNamee, Lorcan McLoughlin, Reuben Crothers, David McCann.

Replacements: Josh Hanlon, Scott Wilson, Ryan McMahon, Paddy Browne, Jack Milton, Ross McKay, James McNabney, Zac Ward, Jude Postlethwaite.

A little surprised to see McCann and Reid in there but game time is game time and it adds a bit of extra bite to the squad . McNabney on the bench is the big number 8 from the U19s and Zac Ward is there again. Plenty of good players there.

Harry Sheridan as captain is also interesting as McCann and Crothers would have been the age grade captains for this young group of players.

Still no Tom Stewart, must be an injury.

Good to see Tom Stewart back on the bench at least. Very strong side.

"Harry Sheridan has retained the captaincy for this game, having led the side last weekend versus Munster. He will partner Adam McNamee in the second row. Callum Reid is named at loosehead, with James McCormick selected at hooker and Scott Wilson at tighthead. Lorcan McLoughlin, Reuben Crothers and David McCann make up the starting back row.

Shea O’Brien will play his third successive Development Inter-Pro game at full-back, with Conor Rankin and Jude Postlethwaite on the wings. Ben Carson and Angus Curtis form the centre pairing, and James Humphreys will partner fellow Irish U20s half-back, Conor McKee.

Tom Stewart, Josh Hanlon, Joe Mawhinney, Paddy Browne, James McNabney and Zac Ward are named among the forward replacements. Ross Taylor, Lewis Finlay and Ross McKay are the back line options.

Ulster Rugby team to play Connacht, Development Interprovincial game, Friday 24 September at IRFU High Performance Centre (12 noon):

(15-9) Shea O’Brien, Conor Rankin, Ben Carson, Angus Curtis, Jude Postlethwaite, James Humphreys, Conor McKee;

(1-8) Callum Reid, James McCormick, Scott Wilson, Harry Sheridan (Capt.), Adam McNamee, Lorcan McLoughlin, Reuben Crothers, David McCann.

Replacements: Tom Stewart, Josh Hanlon, Joe Mawhinney, Paddy Browne, Ross Taylor, Lewis Finlay, James McNabney, Zac Ward, Ross McKay."

44 Leinster (or there abouts given my counting!). Looks like blue dominating in green. Will definitely be interesting to see what U20 make up ends up being on the back of these over next couple of seasons - but seems to be no stopping the Leinster conveyor belt.

A bit strange considering at the recent u-19 inter pros all the 4 provinces were very competitive with each other. Nobody was vastly better or worse than the other. All tight scorelines afaik.

Ulster have several u19's with the irish u20 squad instead of the irish 19's.

Leinster went undefeated with two close games and a blow out of Munster.
