Good result, think Connacht fans were quite confident.

Zack Kerr very prominent in Newcastle victory over Castre tonight. Mark McCalls nephew? ( per the commentator) .
Was he ever in UR Academy?

unfortunately another winger; ie not a second row, or back row!!

Wasn't in the Academy, heading I think to Australia or NZ for a year to play a bit then back to England. Went to Bangor Grammar, I think a year ahead of Aaron Sexton. Always a decent player and trains hard.

Yeah I think the Connacht side was a bit more experienced than ours. We could have won it at the end but the penalty went wide wide [both kickers missed kicks so probably the conditions]. That was a pretty young pack bar the starting props.

Kerr was a centre through school and in the age grade system played 18’s and 19’s, great to see that he has gone away to Uni, worked his way into the Falcons academy and now played in Europe.

That’s a decent result at the sports ground and good to see a bit of fight and belief to come from points down to nearly nick it.

Good determination and speed from Izuchukwu for his try and a couple for Sexton. A couple of good Connacht tries as well.

Good grief, the acceleration by Sexton for our second try. It looked like the Connacht player was jogging back!

That is a potent raw talent if everything else can be brought up to a decent standard.

Also looks like a game we could of one bar, a bad line out and loose tackle.

Izzy looks like a real athlete for a 2nd row.

Let’s see a few of these boys thrown in at the deep end seeing as we’ve utterly fooked up our European campaign.

He could get some pro 14 game time over Xmas with our current second row issues.

Is that David Humphrey's son at Outhalf?

Does anyone know how good he is? Hopefully he can tackle better than his Dad or his Uncle!!

Jude Postlethwaite should have a career in acting, after he’s done with the rugby.

They are all sub-academy. Interesting to see so many form my old school Sullivan in there.. Darren Cave was our lone representative for ages. I think McKee is supposed to be good, Heard good things about Egan and Saunderson is a big lad who's been about the underage Ireland squads. Haven't heard anything in regards to Sheridan or Humphreys, Postlethwaite is decent I think?

Is Jude Postlethwaite related to Willie P of CIYMS and Ulster fame (grandson or grand nephew)?
Hope is not a strategy.
