Who was your UlsterMOTM vs Glasgow semi?

Post by fermain »

aaaah, well!
it could have been a dream, but we failed to make sure in the 2nd half. Fair play to Weeges for a good season all round.

But, who was yer man of the match for Ulster in this tough encounter?

Stevenson - plenty of effort from all 15 players BUT in the end we came up short

Stevenson put in one of his best shifts in an Ulster Jersey, Chad also was imperious at the breakdown as well as scoring a good try, Payne made some good yards, but for me the Caveman had an excellent game and gets my vote for solid industry in both attack and defence.
Hope is not a strategy.

Rocket was the man for me, contested everything with his never-say-die attitude!
Honourable mentions for Henry and Wilson.
Half-backs were poor tonight and backline never really threatened.
Darren Cave apart from one break was poor and McCloskey should have been on around 50 mins. I actually thought McCloskey was injured, just can't understand why he wasn't on earlier.
Generally Doak's coaching baffles me!

Any of them in the first 40 none of them in the second 40.
Lack of a real leader on field.
Credit to Lutton and Stevenson for stepping up and not disgracing themselves.
I'm too gutted to vote.

Went for Chad who was best player on the pitch but like everyone else I though Lewis and Lutton really stepped up to the plate.
Think how they might have performed if they played more regularly!
