It seems that most if not all rugby media is or has began to pickup on this story... by next week we will be all be ignorant orange racist bar steward with our club making suggestions that it will investigate... we have been here before and no doubt Zebo well aware of that..
I would prefer to hear the nature of the allegation in detail as I for one would not hestitate to advise him what I would call him and there is no doubt he face some boos but nothing like I had expected.
If as Doyle says he was advised by some in crowd exactly what happened and that the culprit was ‘sorted’ then detail on that should not be hard to come by.. otherwise Doyle himself is making it up. I was aware of at least one Ulster player openly called a black bar steward by Mexicans and others down south but in the days before social media.. the only thing Ulster did about was kept on winning..
It has certainly taken the attention away from a win and now as well as top shaggers we are racists again.

Burns was injured and unable to kick from the 26th minute. He should have come off sooner.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Struggling with the logic of that decision. If he hadn't run it off by ht what was the point of keeping him on?Dave wrote:Burns was injured and unable to kick from the 26th minute. He should have come off sooner.

How we won the game in spite of our kicking game is still a bit unbelievable.big mervyn wrote:Struggling with the logic of that decision. It's crazy you aren't allowed to use subs in this day and age.

I too was slightly confused keeping an apparently injured Burns on as long as we did.. More so by the announcement that McPhillips was on the bench and again at the sight of Lowry.
Clearly a lack of confidence in how to defend 1 minute of game time from the opposition goal/touch line led to the decision to kick for goal and simply run the clock out except we very nearly messed that up giving them the chance to start again well into our half..
Our defence was much praised however at the same time their tries appeared to come too easy although Payne called out Burns for his mistake with one missed tackles that led to a try.
Getting to a Q-F will tick a box for Dan or will we blow it..
Has anyone figured out the Zebo hand signal yet?

Watching the game back, I see 1F called out Ludik for making a meal out of the tackle in the air, 2nd half.

Probably shows how little faith he has in Lowry as a 10!!big mervyn wrote:Struggling with the logic of that decision. If he hadn't run it off by ht what was the point of keeping him on?Dave wrote:Burns was injured and unable to kick from the 26th minute. He should have come off sooner.
Addison was covering 2 positons, keeping the show on the road.

My opinion but I can see why he didn’t bring Lowry on earlier if Burns was ‘ok’ to continue.Big-al wrote:Probably shows how little faith he has in Lowry as a 10!!big mervyn wrote:Struggling with the logic of that decision. If Cooney had of started then it would of been a different story. Shananan would not take pressure of Lowry especially around a kicking game. Lowry hasn’t started a game at 10.
