Probably because Eventsec wouldn’t have had a clue what to do and to be fair, it’s not something anyone would have expected to happen.
Likely scenario was a tap on the shoulder and told to “shut the fûck up you knob”
It is no surprise that there has been racist abuse on the terrace at Ravenhill. NI is still a parochial backwater with attitudes from the 1950s at best

To be fair, you'll find those attitudes everywhere in Ireland and beyond. I'm frequently astounded by how openly racist many Lionels are.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Quite!
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right
back to the match, a heartening performance, and good going by McFarland and team, given the situation he came into. Yes, if you take a few key players out, we still look very scratchy with lots of inexperienced players and unfamiliar partnerships still getting up to speed, but we are starting to look decently coached at least. Set piece is at least functioning, if not dominant, defence isn't there yet, but a lot further forward than a couple of months ago, and we are coming up with some nice starter plays (although we don't often look very threatening past a couple of phases).
The truth is that if we qualify, we will probably be clearly the 7th or 8th best side still in, and I don't fancy us to go away and win in a QF - the top 4 or 5 sides this year are seriously good. I'd love to beat Leicester away - good thing to get used to, and a good opportunity to notch a win if they don't pick their strongest side - but if we qualify I'd be happy to avoid a hoking away.
Chalk it up to experience - we could start next season with a settled squad, all of EOS, TOT, Lowry, Baloucoune, Hume, Kernohan, McBurney, Jones with solid chunks of game time under their belts, this year's new signings properly bedded in and hopefully a few astute additions to the squad. It would be pretty much the first normal and non-chaotic transition to a new season for what feels like ages!
“Racing 92 strongly condemns the racist insults that Simon Zebo was targeted with on Saturday during the European Cup game between this club and Ulster Rugby at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast,” reads the statement.
“Racism has no place in rugby, in which the values of solidarity and togetherness are the exact opposite of any forms of discrimination.
“Racing, however, does not wish to stigmatise Ulster Rugby as a whole. The insults suffered by Simon Zebo are the actions of only one or two individuals and have been condemned by many Ulster fans who have shown their support for Simon.”
