The other three sides still have to play each other. We only play Edinburgh which will be a crunch game. Ulster's next 3 games must all be 5 pointers to have any chance. Benetton and Edinburgh have tough old run ins. Fight for every inch time!

The bookies think we're odds on to finish third.

Probably come down to the traditional finale against Leinster's seconds.

If Scarlets can get their sh$t together, they could pick up a lot of points. No Euro distractions either.

Dragons away will not be easy.
Need to send a strong team over.

Will Marcell be in contention for that?

From what I heard ‘Yes’.

The fixtures fall quite well for us. Need 3 wins before Europe, then send an A side to Glasgow before full bore against Edinburgh. With the others hopefully taking points off one another we might squeze home in 3rd. Need some favours from our southern brethren as well.

I would be surprised if Scarlets win all their remaining games. I expect this to go right to the wire.

Our downfall this year could possibly be our lack of bonus points, along with the Dragons we have scored the least bonus points, only 3. If we had scored the average amount of bonus points we would probably be second in our conference. :red:

Bear in mind we have drawn 2 matches which we should have won which distorts the bp figures. If we had beaten benneton we would be swapped in the table standings.

Scarlets have won 2 out of their last 10 (home to Tigers and Dragons).

Scarlets form hasn't been good, but that isn't a bad run-in they have - Munster could do us a favour by nicking an away win there...

We need to rack up 14 or 15 points in the next 3 - and we should also be hoping that Edinburgh beat Munster and go through to the semi, we play them the week before and would likely be up against their seconds (assuming of course that we don't beat Leinster in our QF!!)

Edinnburgh will get what they need from the Glasgow game unless the wedgies need something at that stage also. We should be aimimg to do the business ourselves. 4 wins from 6 might squeeze us in.

I'm they're saying the same about us and the Leinster game. It would be better if the season didn't finish with these derbies.

The only counter theory I have to that is Edinburgh have beaten Glasgow twice already this season, not sure how easily Glasgow would stomach rolling over.

Having said even if Glasgow had a full strength team it would appear Edinburgh may have their number in any case this season.
