Well? What do you think of the new appointment of Iain Henderson as Captain? Will his International commitments hinder or help him?
For me he was the obvious choice. Potentially has the same characteristics as Paul O'C. He definitely can rally the inner 'dog' to rally the troops when needed.

The best choice. It's not an unusual phenomenon to have a captain away with Ireland. Leinster and Munster have the same issue. Will likely see Rob H and AOC share the duties when Hendo isn't around.

A local guy who commands respect from everyone. He must have learned much from Rory's approach to referees - respectful but firm. Yes, he'll be away for the internationals but that's par for the course in Ireland (and, I guess, in Wales, Scotland and Italy).

Always going to be Captain when Rory called time.

Only alternative to me was Coetzee, always prefer a forward to be captain and I'm sure he will lead from the front.

Second rows tend to look down on referees it intimidates them -- makes them think twice about whistling -- not nice when your explaining what infringement you have blown for looking up into the face of a second row.
The best to see and direct a game of course is scrum half but that's not necessarily the best thing for a Captain .
Anyone spot Baggy in the in the programme about the Brits in Spain ?
