Charity Partners

Post by Gerald the Mole »

Is Extern a good choice or a political ( with a small p ) choice, personally I can think of several more deserving local charities, more Ulster based as opposed to “ island of Ireland “ charity as CEO quoted .

Can’t help thinking everything UR is now with some sort of “ what can we do to be not picked on”

Extern probably have more money in the bank than UR

Nothing wrong with supporting Local Charities and changing the Charity each year but maybe UR might consider supporting a local Charity before Christmas and then a more international one after Christmas in the second half of the season.

The change of focus might ensure a continuing interest in Charitable support the problem being many people would only give once to a single charity .

Ulster based would probably mean NI based.

Never heard of Extern but they seem alright at first glance.

If not mistaken Extern’s CEO replaced a certain Director at the RNIB several years back when he began his journey to take us to world domination... shows you what a small place this is if nothing else.
