New Travel Partner

Post by waggonsroll »

See that Thomas Cook has been named as the new travel partner with the opportunity for ST holders to travel on the same charter as the team (new or not! ). Is this the same company reported as being in serious financial difficulties earlier this year. Hope the team have a plan B when travelling with them. :stir: :stir:

Probably only one way. But with the Company saving investment from China for Thomas Cook announced yesterday perhaps we might get some interesting preseason friendlies. Anyone for a trip to Beijing next year :fleg: :fleg:

Looks like Thomas Cook has only days to live, hope nobody booked the team charter!! seems there are 150,000 people (holiday makers and staff) that will need to be brought home, would be the biggest repatriation in any peacetime situation.

Think its 600,000 on holiday with the 150,000 being British.

They've asked for a Government bailout. Thank god I booked Jet 2.

For any of the away trips, get three or four mates, take the car, make it a long weekend. What's not to like?

Of course the trip to Safferland might take a bit longer.

Considering every man and his dog knew about Thomas Cooks financial position the past year, some questions should be asked about Ulster Rugby’s diligence by their commercial department and whoever decided that it “was a good idea” to have a company on highly publicised difficulties involved.

Someone somewhere has made a poor decision

Bring back Ken Smyth. :stout:

Spare charter planes might be a bit hard to come by over the next few weeks.........and maybe a tad expensive.

Brexiteers will love it.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Suspect TC offered a great deal to be the official travel partner. UR must surely have known of the difficulties and should have back up plans in place.
