Even all of the home games would be some effort. From beating Stade in 99 to getting hoked at Ravers by the likes of the Scaaarlets (albeit a good Scaaarlets side).

Strangest defeat for me was the one to Northampton 2nd Xv at ravenhill after we had beaten their 1st xv at Franklin Gardens the week before.

Was that the game Tommy got injured? We'd stuffed them the week before.

I was at both of those Saints games, Big Dan scored the try bonus point at Franklins, punching the ball into the air with his fist after touching down. Saints fans outstanding hosts.

I believe HWM created rain from a 1st floor emergency escape stairwell onto the smoking area below..... can anyone name the pub?

You're correct Damo, Bowe injured and beaten 10-9 on the night. Bowe returned from injury as a sub in our quarter final defeat by Sorries, he was caught flat footed looking distinctly unfit for one of their tries.

I made the Castres away trip also that year, our first win in France?

Munster 174
Leinster 168
Toulouse 165
Leicester 155

Only Munster, Leinster and Ulster have been ever present.

Thanks, Merv. So, if we get out of the pool, we could catch Leicester. We could also get above the 50/50 win/lose ratio against both the English and the French. Just another wee bit of incentive.

The stats prove that we could always compete with the top 6 in both France and Engerland.

I'm waiting for HWM to say that he cannot recall the incident.

He may well have been in Pizza Express at the time, although the odds are that he wouldn't be able to recall that either.

Cables would have supplied more info points, for and against, trys for and against,
possibly the players with the most appearances against .

But it is nice to see Cables remembered "The Capt" would be pleased. Where is he this weather ? missing is icy wit.!!!
