Ulster can struggle when there is an expectation that they will win a game with something to spare/get a BP. Bookies have Ulster 16 points favourites.

The Scarlets rarely make it easy and they've got some big lads in the back row there.

It would have been nice to rest the props, Marcel and Coons but we can't really afford to.

New Tongan lad - Sam Lousi from RWC in 2nd row also. Can do the double digit player resting in the annual defeat at the RDS on December 20th.

Murphy isn't selected.

I think the rest of us had assumed he meant Cooney and/or weren't churlish enough to correct a guy on their first post.

Welcome to the party pal, we could do with more numbers :thumleft:

I would have to agree we've played a stronger hand than we needed to.

That is one seriously strong scarlet squad...

They're really up for this one...

I'll be a part of it again, next season!!

Likely thinking - Keep the winning streak going at home against a weak side with harder inter pro games to come. Rack up a decent lead & get the main players off ASAP. Noticeable Murphy Henderson & Marshall rested. Good to see Balacoune back, & game time for Faddes to find form. Big fan of Curtis - super prospect.

Can DFS get me a metaphorical sofa before Xmas?
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Doesn’t look like the BT can be arsed to put up a podcast this week.

Stronger hand than necessary ??! ?

I'll accept that if it is a 7 try bonus point victory .

Against the Scarlets sometimes the win is a nail biting struggle.

Welcome Notdoc!
I'm normally a belt and braces sort of bloke so I'd go for a strong team rather than take the risk of throwing away points. Hopefully we can run up a score and break their hearts, then take the main men off and see the game out. Mind you, this Scarlets team are no mugs so nothing's a given.

Forgot to say, great to see young Robbie B back on the wing. I really like the lad; he could have a big future if he can stay fit and doesn't have the youthful enthusiasm coached out of him.
