Expected to lose, but Ulster had the better of the 2nd half, and a lot to take away from that game.
But who was yer man of the match?

Hard to look past Jones.
Re: Leinster v ULSTER MoTM?
My gut feeling too.

But i’m going for Ethan.
A lot of minutes on debut and he gave a good account of himself.

Sadlier in the BT has only four players out of the 23 scoring over 5 out of 10.
Presumably he was expecting us to land more than 6 tries.

Re: Leinster v ULSTER MoTM?
I went for O Toole because Leinster had a couple of Internationals in their front row who failed to assert them selves in the set piece .
Sadler has it right to some extent-- there were some terrible missed tackles which were redeemed by a moments of glory which make assessment of individual performance extremely difficult.
For a young put- together mix -- it was a game where some possibly and hopefully learnt something individually and as a group.
The reason I didn't go for McIlroy was he played the game like a schoolboy -- and got away with it because i many respects the game was played by Leinster like" a superior school v an inferior school" game and not a Pro14 or European game after they had asserted themselves into a BP winning position .

Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

O'Toole for me too, fairly puts himself about and gave us a stable scrum which I thought was quite an achievement. Dooley as far as I know is very highly thought of in Leinster.
Re: Leinster v ULSTER MoTM?
Went for Tom O'Toole myself. Our scrum next took a backward step against a more seasoned front row.
I'd like to see Greg Jones with another stone on him. A couple of good scores but was out muscled on a few occasions, Leinster score being one of them.
