A big loss.

Just looking back to the last time we went there. 28 nil down after 41 minutes before we rallied/they declared.

I expressed my disappointment after the game when 2MP headed straight for the coach. He then groggily turned around and came over to see us to explain he was heavily concussed.

Anyone know what happened to the big fella?
Expecting something closer to thw 2013 effort this time.

2MP retired because of the concussions. Think he's now into the motivational speaker game. Heavily into the auld Christian stuff too.

Honest to the end.

I wondered if he may have taken the cloth or something.

A lovely fella.

I don't even think that Jesus was very good at rugby.

You sure?

I thought he was a top notch 15 back in the day.

Sure when he ran in a try against Munster from under his own posts, did they not record it in folklore as "the parting of the red sea"...

Somewhat contrived, and not entirely Biblically accurate, but 10 out of 10 for effort >appl

That's what I have been thinking also, BUT I dont believe Clermont are as good as they were in 2013.

Are we now a better team than we were then? It's tough to compare and come up with a definitive answer.

Evidence is scrappy, but there are those who think that Jesus did introduce rugby to the disciples, but whether played himself, is not clear. First reference to anything rugby-related is in Acts Ch1 v 26 where a ruck is described ... "and the lot fell upon Matthias"

We are likely to have Matthew, Luke and John on Saturday....

The biblical references at rugby are more subtle these days. Like the ref asking the TMO..”Try or Noah Try?”

Off topic, I know, but do we know which weekend the Heineken Cup quarter finals are? Can't seem to find it on their website.

So, Les Bleus have announced their 42 man squad for the 6N.

It contains a grand total of two players from Clermont - Fischer (thought he was a chess player?) and Penaud.

Nothing to fear here lads.
