ULSTER MOTM vs Bath

Post by fermain »

Well, we won, and are through to the last 8. In Europe!

& that's some achievement from where we were... :fleg:

We need to play much better if we are to make a difference in the Qtr finals.

But who was yer Ulsterman of the match???? :red:

A number of folk stood up. I'm liking Bobby Baloucoune more and more, especially his tackling, so I could have gone for him. However, for sheer bloody mindedness and being as safe as houses in every department, Lukie it is.

Would have given it to Marcel but he butchered a certain run in down the line for Gilroy.

WA. Big creative influence for the backline. Scored 1, made 1. He is injury prone, prone to getting isolated & turned over, however he creates so much, the rest need to read him better. Best 15 by a mile at UR, & our 2nd playmaker.

Have to admit Addison did look a little like Jared Payne a couple of times, ghosting through a gap or two.

I thought Addison was his usual self, sublime in parts, headless in others. Coetzee for me, the guy is a monster.

Lukey has been Mr Reliable since he came back at the Aviva. Playing better than he was when capped.
