I would agree. However, Johnston played well and no harm in spreading these awards around! :D

Hume got stood up by runners a couple of times, but was otherwise excellent. He's a talent for sure.
Bill Johnston did a heck of a job at 10 for a guy who has had limited game time.
Marcell was a monster in attack and defence and my MOTM.

As for the great man. He may not have as many bells and whistles to his game as he had when he was with us, but he still reads the game like a boss. Any aspiring scrumhalf should watch how he predicts where the ball will be and tracks it with sublime efficiency.

Needless bit of fannying about with 80 gone which gave them possession and a chance of a BP, albeit an unlikely one.

True. Especially on a night where we didn’t look like scoring tries very often. Ulster could not get a BP so kick it out.

Watching Marcel is something else. The meters from the point of contact to bringing him down is just utterly insane. We are in the presence of greatness.

Agreed; Johnson has an air of calm about him, as far as I can judge. Burns looks like he's living on his nerves.

Speaking of cool under pressure Baloucoune impresses me; he slipped the gin rightly tonight down in the corner, a great defensive recovery.

Johnson has more to him than just his kicking game. He offered more about the park than Burns ever does. He seems to want to get stuck in and get involved. I’d like to see him get a run of games alongside Cooney.

Marcel was simply immense. His name should be in the Oxford English under ‘Hard Yards’ and ‘Destroyer’

A joy to see Ruan again. I’d still pay good money just to watch him practice his box kicks.
