not really there are many streets in many places I wouldn't walk down wearing a Rolex
and I knew that it would be misunderstood after I had posted it.
People are great individually it's groups who must be avoided be they white, black pakistani, mexican , prod or catholic
it is the group " this is our town --turf or street" culture is the problem
my watch of choice is a Timex nobody has been hit over the head for a Timex as far as i know.

He said I like it I want it
I'll take it off your hands
And you'll be sorry you crossed me
You'd better understand that you're alone
A long way from home.

Did Rum finish that post for you?Evil Kiwi wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 5:33 pm...I don't think you have learned from the Paddy and Stu fiasco, by sharing unproven and unfounded ideas or suspicions that are personally damaging.Snipe Watson wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 8:23 pm I hadn't seen the full post including the photo.
Gilroy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed that's a known. I suspect he knew exactly what he was doing including the racial undertones and thought it was funny. McFarland should rip him a new one. He just hasn't got the message from what happened to Paddy and Stu and the fact that he was nearly dragged into it.
The Telegraph is sniffing out any piece of impropriety and try to turn it into a scandal. That's their stock-in-trade.

There was no malicious intent at all in Gilroy’s post - after he stuck the picture up a couple of guys texted him, but even looking back at it he couldn’t work out the problem and concluded they were winding him up.. it wasn’t until he called his old dear that he twigged! He’s not the sharpest, but he’s certainly not a racist, in fact from all I’ve heard he’s a lovely down to earth fella.. He cacked himself and reckoned he was in trouble, but from what I hear given the kickback on social media from fed up fans and ex-players, Ulster for once grew a pair and gave the tele a bit of grief - it didn’t hurt that it was pointed out Ulster themselves had referred to Cooney as ‘Coons’ dozens of times on social media!
I like Bradley, but by this stage if journalists still can’t figure out why they are so widely-despised when they continually stoop to crap like this then I don’t know...

Maybe Gilroy was off the day they covered racial insults in the curriculum.
Or maybe since Methody is one of the more racially diverse schools around, they dropped that from their curriculum. Badly let Gilroy down if that was the case.

True dat. When my daughter was there ( a couple of years ahead of Gilroy) they had a wee humorous ditty that celebrated the ethnic and religious diversity at MCB. Can't remember the lyrics but it was set to the Addams Family theme tune.Cap'n Grumpy wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 9:04 amMaybe Gilroy was off the day they covered racial insults in the curriculum.
