Coetze our only breakdown dog at the minute. If embra could offload they would be miles ahead.

Some decent defence from Ulster and discipline has generally been very good.

Showing nothing in attack though. No real ball carrying from our pack. Would like to see McCloskey get a couple of run ups.

Getting a few kickable penalties seems to be our best option...

Probably best we don't play leinster in the final based on that 1st half anyway...

In addition, I struggle to think of a team in these sort of games which displays as many brain dead moments. There is no other team who gives away so many ‘get out of jail free cards’ as we do when it’s our line out near opposition line. One we had a let off when Rea didn’t get up (looked like a poor jump and bad lift from Carter) but won a penalty. Second when Herring was turned over by their 7. Then towards the end of the half and the line outs csught by Rea is turned over.

It’s there for the taking.

Not clinical enough at times but it’s a better spot than we were in at half time in Glasgow!

Would have been a great trip. Sigh......

Playing like a team with no game plan, no leadership and no fight. Line out and scrum both poor.

What do you/ can you change for second half?
