What do you/ can you change for second half?
Very little I fear. Our perennial problem is no depth.
Not a bad result for a team with no depth. Bench changed it.

I watched part of the other semi last night and switched off because I was bored. Mightn't be a bad thing that Leinster think they only have to turn up to win.

Of course that's probably true, but hey, let's give it a lash - they weren't great last night in the bit that I saw. Match littered by errors by both teams. Just like Ulster.

They could fill the Aviva for the final.
Well played Ulster..

Didn't see that result coming to be honest. Edinburgh could have been gone over the hill by half time and still lead 19-7 with 20 minutes to go.

Do we know if Mathewson for Cooney was injury or tactical?

He didn't look injured but either way it was the right call tactically.

I only saw the second half but it wasn't half a great watch. We weren't brill but we clearly had more juice than Embra. Tactically done by us or did Embra blow it? That maul from 5 metres is a serious weapon if we can get consistent lineout ball.

Wee Mads can wear whatever boots he likes from now on! :red:

Next week, who knows, just maybe...

I’d have been very disappointed to lose that.

We pretty much knew we’d be playing them for months, had plenty of inside data on them, we’ve won there for the last two years and even their first choice internationals only play for Scotland.

Only our injuries made it dicey.

Lads in all seriousness, Marty Moore looks like he has dined on a prop over lockdown. He's massive, built like an amateur prop who retired 20 years ago.

Not sure you could trust him to put in a shift, needs to be put on a treadmill.

Cut him a bit of slack. We’ve all put on a few pounds over the summer.

He tried to train on the park during lockdown but some busybody reported him to the BT.

Well it was clearly spotted that Edinburgh had some shortcomings down the blind side. So they McCloskey there a few times to feed the outside backs into the space. We can definitely put the McCloskey doesn't pass nonsense to bed.

Indeed.

Getting Marcel wider more often could be a literal game changer for us too.
