Without Marcell we can't score from 5m out. Amongst other things. Seems Hendy is now a doubt. I don't see us having the pack to win anything. Anytime we have faced a decent side this season we have crumbled. I hope I'm wrong but I don't envisage it.
What's wrong with Henderson?
Was taken off with a shoulder issue on sat. Haven't heard anything since.
Difficult to make predictions with no fans in the grounds, you would normally give more home wins than way, but there's more than one might go away. Good luck all
Good Friday just got more boring.
Apparently Toulon were all clear on tests last night and the organisers still called it off.
This rugby season needs to end and let us get back to normality for September.
That's the right call. From what I've read 6 players (including the entire front row) had come into contact with a player on the 31st March, who had tested positive. Although negative PCR tests were returned for the rest of the squad, this still allows for the possibility of an asymptomatic coronavirus infection developing between last nights testing and today's fixture. The risk of transmission is not worth the match going ahead. Especially with the SA variant of concern rife in France.
The frustration for Toulon is that they were not informed about this outcome until they arrived on irish soil. They were allowed to play the match on Sunday if they replaced the 6 players. It sounds like they would have no front row if this was to happen and thus refused.
Glasgow out now as well which is always nice. Fancy the dragons to do a number on the saints tomorrow as well so ulster may have a trip to rodney parade in the QF should we get through.

I saw on twitter that Dave Parade now actually looks like a rugby pitch again.
