between Hume and Rea for me - honourable mention for Marty Moore as well given his activity at the gainline late into the game. I was a bit harsh on Hume until fairly recently but he's been doing well. Didn't think Marcell had a stormer though vital as always. don't want to fall back into the Nick Williams/Ruan Pienaar habit of giving MC the award every time we do well so I'll stick with Fez's call and plump for Rea.

You can see rea is learning from murphy on his lines of running onto the ball. It is always easier to drift away from the ruck but the rewards come for the forward willing to cut back on the angle towards it. It takes better hands to do it but if you can hit the gap you always get past the gainline. Rea did this a few times in the game and got my vote for it.
