Lost his head completely. Had a right barney with the ref and was just simmering.

Yeah saw that, think I heard he say it had happened twice now, not sure what it was though, any ideas?

Adamson is the most irritating ref since Fitzgibbon, but Hendy would have known that beforehand.

It looked to me like the pumped in crowd atmosphere really put the Ospreys off their game....

Hendy drives bound players into the opposition scrumhalf and can create turnovers. He was just careless with his height this time. He was having a good game to that point.

His best game since the injury.

Ulster were well worth that win.

Decent set piece and never looked like leaking a try.

Marcel was great and it was nice to see JS enjoying himself again.

Adamson explained one of the penalties against Ulster by saying he "felt" that it was Ulster who impinged

Since when did feelings come into refereeing

Okay, that might always have been the case, but you don't admit it.

There was a scrum near the end when Ulster had put in, the ball was out and he blew for a reset

a couple more resets later, it looked like Ospreys went down but he penalised Ulster, probably because he "felt" it must have been us because we had an 8 in the second row and a centre at flanker.

Cooney more like himself too.

Marcell is just a beast.

Rea Junior looked a bit of alright, and the two centres continued where they left off last week. :fleg:

Adamson is a poor referee, that's the long and the short of it. He's going to miss stuff all over the place and it must be very frustrating for players and that is a problem that needs to be addressed by the league.

Stockdale had a great game, wonderful with ball in hand and kicking to space and under the high ball was very good. His biggest issue is tackling and I only remember one tackle that he made where he didn't even leave his feet. Hope he does get the confidence back in defence and glad to see him play so well.
Coetzee was immense as usual, young Rea I noticed quite a bit and a pretty good debut, him and McCann coming through does suggest we might develop some of our own.
Cooney played great apart from kicking at the posts, Mads played pretty well.
I think we won this game principally due to forward fundamentals and winning the kicking game, we could and should have scored easily 13 points more, while they had minimal threat although part of that was losing so many lineouts and an awful kick to the corner.
When you look at the players in that Ospreys they still have a lot of top names, for the benefit of the league we really need the Welsh teams to improve considerably.
