I know mentioned elsewhere but thought this deserved its own thread. Quite looking forward to watching.

The game will be streamed live on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport NI website from Kingspan Stadium with kick-off at 3pm.

Jim Neilly will be on commentary alongside former UIster player, Ian Humphreys.

Ulster ‘A’ versus Leinster ‘A’ will be live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport NI website bbc.co.uk/sportni at 3pm this Friday (January 15). The BBC Sport NI website stream will be available worldwide.

Interesting Sheridan starts in the back row, normally a 2nd row, unsure if he has the off the mark pace, would love to see him go well. No 2nd row cover on the bench and only one back row on the bench in Crothers. Very excited about Crothers he's an old school out and out seven.

Conor Rankin was given the full academy contract ahead of McIlroy, he'll have something to prove.

It's an exciting young team, hopefully shouldn't get bullied with the old heads in the front row. Thanks Bayern for putting the age grades beside.

I'd read Sheridan maybe isn't quite tall enough for a pro lock? Good to see what he's like, looking forward to seeing how the starting locks go as well, Izuchukwu looks like a prospect. The back three could do with going well, I've been surprised to see Moxham with the firsts ahead of Rankin and Sexton, Humphreys on the bench - hopefully has something about him, along with Doak that should give Gusher plenty to talk about!

Great to have a game to see but seriously, without putting a dampener on it, but why the fack a KO during the working/school day. Could they seriously not have put it on later in the evening ffs.

No handicap betting at PP Neill?!

Sheehan and Hawkshaw have looked promising and most Leinster fans seem to think Baird should be straight into the Lions (starting team...!)

it's true, but in defence of Robbo he's a bloody enjoyable commentator all the same. Definite master and apprentice but the younger is golden-tongued compared to the one-dimensional scutter offered by a great deal of others and their ditchwater co-comms.

Thanks for the age-grades Neil - lots of exciting players there it'd be good to see. the 3pm start is a dig in the chops but to echo justin maybe the nippers (or the junior streaming team) need to get home before it's too dark.
