Re: Welcome to Ulster Leone Nakarawa
It's a calculated gamble for 1 year, given the Coetzee situation. Hopefully Dan's connection with him has a reaction. He does seem to be phoning it in with Glasgow.
Nick Williams was another gamble when Ulster got him from Aironi. Given his performance at Munster, all that was expected was big profits for the fast food chains according to some.
Re: Welcome to Ulster Leone Nakarawa
If Leone is phoning it in then he seems to have lost the number!
Still, Big Nick is the comparison that gives us hope and he was never the European Player of the Year.

There are other gambles that did not pay off. There were some safe bets that turned out woeful. Like I say, I do hope to be wrong but based on current displays he looks a shadow of his former self.Neill_M wrote:It's a calculated gamble for 1 year, given the Coetzee situation. Re: Welcome to Ulster Leone Nakarawa
He's certainly worth a punt for a year. If he has any idea of extending his playing career, maybe he recognises that Dan's the man to get the best out of him. This could be a good move for us and for him. At worst, a good year with us could get him bigger money in Japan.

If anyone one can, Dan the man can.
