Would Mike be worth a punt as a journeyman backrow for a year instead of Leone?

Are fitness tests easier to pass in Toulon?

Presume they conveniently forgot the rule that says any team being promoted to the Premiership must have been in compliance with the financial fair play rules for two years prior to promotion?

As they were relegated for non-compliance one season ago, they have not been in compliance for two years.

One rule for some ...

I would say so. More of a risk for Ulster than them. They have a few big lumps for the backrow.

Fiji lock Leone Nakarawa has joined Toulon after failing a medical examination with Irish province Ulster, the French club said on Thursday.

Nakarawa, 33, who won the last of his 62 caps at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, missed out on the move to Belfast last month due to an unspecified fitness issue.

RCT's business model has always been to sign names to get bums on seats. Over the years they have signed many retiring players, some on short term contracts who have been involved in only a handful of games. It's a lovely business model, if you can afford it.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?
