I think the physical effort saints put in in the first half when down to 13, told in the end.

We played for 80, they tired from 65

Bench did well. Herring and Jordi stood up. Discipline decent.

Yellows possibly clouded the issue in the first half.

Considering the pack is missing a fair few caps in Hendy, Marcel, Carter and McGrath, it was a good effort.

Back to normal then - only one away win in the quarters.

Thankfully, it was Ulster.

Gusto when needed. Cooney so composed around the breakdown. Bookies having a laugh at those 2/5 odds. I was worried when trailing after those three yellows but patience paid out.

On it goes.

Montpellier away would be the worst draw. Would fancy anyone at home.

While we didn't take advantage at the time, I think the physical effort for saints from that period told in the end.

Have only lost twice away this year shirley, and one of those we really should have won.

RDS and Gloucester?

Gotta admit, Chris Boyd, Saints' DoR seems like a seriously charismatic guy!

A fit Henderson. Two away wins deserves a home semi i reckon.

Nope.

If we are going to do it, it will be like the 1980's band.

Let's bloody do it!

Rotate the squad for the rainbow debacle and get ready for a semi.

Jared needs to address some of the defence issues and we need Hendy and Carter back. Doubt there's much chance of getting Marcell back, but he would be handy.
