They obviously are adding a novelty factor to the pricing as so far it is not based on the quality of opposition.
Appreciate season tickets aren't for everyone but from a clubs pov they are the holy grail of ticket purchasing so expect people to be nudged in that direction.

A push to season tickets is an angle I guess as a season ticket becomes better value because the price is the same but contains more category A games. Still seems a wrong move. I try to take more and more friends to games and the £20 or so memorial terrace tickets made it a relatively easy sell for some game. That same ticket is now £30+ For games against unproven opposition at this level. Pricing the same as an Interpro overvalues the South Africans and underplays the biggest fixtures of the season.

There could be a perception vs reality gap where the SA sides are concerned.

Snyman has ruptured the same ACL

Prior to joining Munster Snyman played a total of 19 games during three seasons in Japan. Also had a serious knee operation there needing surgery.

Questions need asked? If its JP McManus money fair enough.

Scarlets pitch is a hybrid, might not have been great for a knee recovery.

My understanding is that both Snyman's and De Allende's wages are being covered by private cash. A lot of chat about pitches these days - 3 full plastic surfaces in URC - "Mini Murrayfied", Scotstoun & Arms Park.

A google search describes Parc Y Scarlets as a SISGrass hybrid pitch same/similar as pitches at Lansdowne Road, Dave Parade, Millenium Stadium, Big Murrayfield & Liberty Stadium. Also outside URC, there are hybrid pitches at Twickenham, Stade de France & Stade Marcel Michelin.

In Premiership, Newcastle and Saracens have plastic pitches.

I miss the muddy pitches. Moving the scrum side ways after churning up the turf. Ulster subs coming on looking like a daz advert. Shirley easier on the knees but just slippier and slidier under foot.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Played exclusively on muddy pitches, given how my knees feel on the stairs every morning, would hate to think what shape I'd be in now if I'd of played on plastic pitches .

I hope you're not muddying up the stairs for old times sake.

Only if they're in bright (loud) colours. In those circumstances they would be allowed.ImageImage

They must be good tights if they prevent knee and ankle injuries.

This tights could become popular with ladies of the night also.
