Is there any video of the incident? If so can it be posted?

Bad news from the dark side
Steinmetz Injury Update
Paul Steinmetz sustained a depressed fracture of his cheekbone in Ulster's match against The Dragons on Saturday and will be operated on early next week.

At this stage we do not know how long he is likely to be out of action.
Looks like we could well be without Steiner for quite a while. Six weeks is the normal minimum for these things. Thankfully there is only one match next month but I imagine he'll probably miss 2 or three of our last 5 at least.
Paul.

Sunday life was saying it could be him for the season. Doubt that though. Did he have this sort of injury before?! Or somebody in Ulster had a cheekbone injury. Hope we dont miss him!

Did Larkin not break his cheekbone a few years back? I think I was still at school so at least 4 years ago, could well have been a more recent incident but that's one anyway!

Rooster - not on TV you mean you don't have Santa ?? was it not Steiner himself that had the same injury not too long ago.

Bit of a re-current injury then?!?! I think it is 5 or so weeks UUC. Hope it can be shortened as he'll be needed!

Have Santa tv but they did not show the fight, they mentioned a scrap on the 22 but reckoned it was handbags  didn't look like handbags to me :?

Big loss for us. :( It cost us the league in 2004 when he broke his leg and we lost our cutting edge. Hopefully not as damaging this time with Trimble to come in.
