Spot on - there was a report produced last year on the finances of the Guinness Premiership clubs that showed HEC income was way less than domestic income by some considerable margin.

Think the French and English clubs have been dissatisfied for a long time about the financial performance of the HEC and its adminstration by largely amateur blazer officialdom.

These are merely the first shots in a long war to reform the HEC.
