Witness Statements

Post by Tevez »

Folks

Many of you who were in Toulouse last weekend have provided both this messageboard and that on the darkside with very graphic descriptions of what you witnessed. Ulster Rugby has tried to contact all those who puchased tickets direct from them or who went on the Classic Sports trip to Toulouse to ask that they provide UR with witness statements. These will form part of the dossier of evidence that Ulster Rugby will pass to ERC next week.

Many of you may have bought tickets direct from Stade Toulouse and so are unaware of this request.

Anyone who has not yet furnished Ulster Rugby with these accounts should do so right away and certainly by Monday at the latest.

Thanks.

Jamsie

Let me tell you, your contribution this week has been considerably greater than my amigo.

I know your head is expanding bigger than Paddy B's jaw - but very well done for your media work and particularly your Alfie chat and subsequent report. You did us all proud.

Now time for you to go to bed - your public won't want to see you looking anything but your best tomorrow!

Earleir today, this was posted on this MB.

"all had to be in with the ERC on Wednesday afternoon I think."

I also had a conversation earlier this evening from someone who when he phoned UR was told that he was 'too late'.

My understanding is that the UR dossier has to be in to ERC by next Wednesday.

Previous evidence was used to back up UR's request that the case be investigated by ERC. ERC have, as you know, decided to investigate the case and more evidence to back UR's efforts would, I am assured, be welcome.

My understanding is that the dossier will be added to until Monday when it will be finalised for sending to ERC.

OK Tevez and hopefully your post states the current position.

The first bit I read here.

The conversation referred to in the second bit was at 5:40 pm this evening.

YM

I refer the hon gentleman to my previous reply.

Lyndsay is referring to the initial official request by UR to ERC to have the Brennan matter investigated. That having been achieved, UR has been asked to provide evidence etc to back up the substantive case to be heard next week.

I suspect that not all the evidence was used this week....keeping powder dry etc - so more testimonies are indeed welcome.

Let me assure you and fellow travellers, this categorically is the position.

Cheers Tevez - I'll email mine to Lyndsay this evening.

I take it an attached Word Doc will be acceptable given my proximity to Ravenhill.

Just make sure that you provide your real name and full contact details so that your account can be independently verified and it should be ok. Screen moniker and e-mail address will probably not be enough.
