[tag=image]img/LesKissDOR.jpg[/tag][tag=content]Following the departure of previous Director of Rugby, David Humphreys, Les Kiss has been confirmed as the new interim DOR for Ulster Rigby.

In a statement earlier today, Ulster confirmed that Les will step into the breach from July 19th.

The aim being that this will allow time for a review of the coaching structures at Ulster Rugby to take place, & to give time for the long search for a truly exceptional coach to be found later this year.

Even more welcome news to fans, a further announcement was made that Mark Anscombe, is to leave the Province with immediate effect.

Kiss will continue as Ireland Assistant Coach and will combine his duties with the international side with his new role at Ulster.

Shane Logan, Ulster Rugby Chief Executive, said; "I would like to pay tribute to the contribution that Mark Anscombe made over the past two seasons and to thank him for his hard work and dedication.
"Everyone at Ulster Rugby wishes him well for the future.”

However, reading between many lines, Ulster supporters will be glad his tenure has ended.

Shane continued, "Les Kiss will have an expanded remit for the Province's Director of Rugby and will lead the coaching staff, assisted by Jonny Bell and Neil Doak and will manage 1st team selection.
"His appointment allows us time to recruit for long-term success."
