Ulster unveil 2015/16 kits

[tag=image]http://www.ulsterrugby.com/Portals/0/Ea ... kit600.jpg[/tag][tag=content]Ulster Rugby today revealed their new home and away kits for the 2015/16 season in a large unveiling at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.

In front of 1,500 attendees, captain Rory Best modelled the new Kukri-designed home kit along with Ireland international wingers Tommy Bowe and Andrew Trimble.

The new away kit, which is primarily cyan with a green trim, was also modelled, and will be worn by Ulster in their pre-season friendlies against Leinster on the 21st August and Edinburgh on the 28th August.

Both shirts see Kingspan replace Bank of Ireland as the main sponsor while BT Sport remain on the sleeves with new sponsor Go Power featuring on the back of the shirt below the player’s number.

The shirts are made from 4D technical fabric with a ‘bridge’ collar and also have a four-way stretch making it a tighter and neater fitting jersey. They are also sublimated to make them lightweight with panels that are designed to avoid abrasions.

Director and General Manager of Kukri Ireland Terry Jackson commented on what his team had created for the Irish province.

“We’re really pleased with how the new kits look and we hope the Ulster Rugby supporters will love them too,” Jackson said. “Our design team has maintained the traditional Ulster colours but has added modern elements to the design.

“To launch the new kits in front of so many supporters at Kingspan Stadium is fantastic and it demonstrates the popularity of Ulster Rugby and interest levels in our merchandise.”

The event was hosted by Stephen Clements, a radio DJ from Citybeat, Ulster Rugby’s official new radio partner.[/tag]
