'Twas the night before the final, when all through the land
Flags were stirring, a fluttering red hand
Scarves and shirts were hung in the hall with care
And hoping the tickets would still be there!
The fans were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of Trimble danced in their heads
With Bowe on the wing and our fulback a Payne
Leinster watch out, here come Ulster again
When they run on the pitch, there'll be such a clatter
As fifteen Ulster players will show us what matters
