Who's heading to the Dragons

Post by boysontour2 »

Anyone heading to Rodney Parade? First game of what could be a BIG season, and first time at Rodney Parade for the BoT. Any advice on which tickets to get for the ground?

Hoping to get away from work that friday and head down to Newport ... we tend to stand in the first bit you reach just behind the posts, never had to book tickets though it does save you a couple of quid IF you book online/over phone !!

Rodney Parade is an old fashioned ground though they built a new stand a couple of years ago, where are you staying then?

Wee Sam and I are driving over from Sunny Suffolk Friday morning, hopefully arriving some time early afternoon.
Staying Friday night at the Newport Central Travelodge, which will hopefully serve it's purpose.
We will head for the North Terrace, as that seems to be the Terrace of choice
