URSC arrangements for Connacht match

Post by URSC Secretary »

@ URSC InfoPoint

Meet a Player - Stuart Olding will be at the URSC information point tonight....come along for a chat, a photo and an autograph...even ask him how his injury is coming along....

Selling tickets for the British & Irish Lions 40th Anniversary of the unbeaten tour to South Africa Meet the Players Night on 16 April at 7.30pm in the Stormont Hotel. Lions skipper Willie John McBride, the blindside enforcer Stewart McKinney and centre Dick Milliken will be our guests. Tickets (£10) are also on sale on PayPal on www.ursc.co.

We also plan to have our next edition of the club magazine, Stand Up available for collection. If you cannot pick this up on match night don’t worry – we will post your copy out the following weeks.

Membership – we have 1,074 signed up so far. If you joined within the past few weeks and have not received a membership pack please let us know.

Player of the Months (Jan - March) January to March saw 8 straight wins followed by the Cardiff debacle. Convincing wins against Munster, Montpellier, Dragons and Scarlets...grinding wins against the Ospreys, Treviso and Edinburgh and, of course, the magnificent victory at Welford Road. Whilst the Leicester win was indeed a team effort, Ruan scoring all 22 points grabbed the headlines.

Who else shone during this period? Darren Cave regularly grabbed tries, if not Schmidt’s attention; Robbie Diack’s consistency did get Schmidt’s attention; Jared’s motor bike celebration was seen; Paddy Jackson continued to mature; Tommy Bowe made a trying scoring return; and speaking of returns....a certain Mr Ferris is on the pitch.

The choice is yours. Vote at the URSC Info Desk tonight or via www.ursc.co or by e mail to ulsterrugbysupportersclub@hotmail.com

Closing date is 19 April.

@ the Bus Stop

We have booked a bus for the Munster game, scheduled for 10th May, 1830 KO. We should be home around one o’clock on Sunday morning. Tickets will go on sale on PayPal shortly, as well as being available on the Connacht match.
