Glasgow away 25 March

Post by justinr73 »

Looks like the last train back to Glasgow from Kilmarnock is just before 11pm.

Mind you, Scotstoun still has 5 weeks to dry out

My Weegie chums fear next season. I saw some of their photos and it was still covered in part with standing water. The grass is in very poor shape it seems. When I suggested I might pop over they were fairly positive it would be "Killie".
Grass under water since before Christmas will be dead so even if it does dry out it will have no grass.

I shall be popping over whether it is in Floodsville or Killie. Haven't been away to Glasgow yet.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Lovely wee stadium, Rugby Park. Far better than Scotstoun.

Not sure what it'll be like for rugby, but can't be any worse than what they have been using.

Looks like they're fairly sure about having a fake pitch in place for next year.

I'm quite relieved about the decent train service to and from Killie cos I've already paid for a room in Glasgow!

I'll look into making this one from Leeds. Depending on how cheap I can get trains / hotels

Tickets have gone on sale this week.

You save a fiver if you purchase in advance.

Or you could save about 500 quid and don't go at all of course.
