Decent of you to volunteer Lt. Dave!
I think we can all agree that that would be a bad idea. For everybody.
However, I have drawn up a shortlist of candidates:
Rum
Baggy
Russ
Kofi
D4
Shan
Robert Mugabe
FOLK
As long as they don't get that wee FRU man, John, terribly boring output.
I'll happily do it if they pay for my return flights from Spain for interviews, meetings etc.
There you go, offer on the table, can't say fairer than that.

Anyone know what level of a stipend is involved?
Mind you Bob Mugabe is looking for a change of job I hear. I think URSC should strongly think of him, it would adopt the higher ground for good multiethnic employment practice. My guess is that rather like Clay Allison, Mugabe never killed a man who didn't need killing.
Support the team and coaching staff. Forget the rest,BUT NEVER MOVE ON.

Personally I have been frequently disappointed by the lack of coverage of the on-going Trevor Brennan issue in any issue of Stand Up. Is for instance the somewhat milestone event of DAY 4000 (2nd January 2018, Lest We Forget) going to merit a even a brief mention or footnote in the next issue ? I somehow doubt it. Maybe it's time for a new Editor.

In fairness, Rum and Mugabe will be hard to surpass.

Just had a virtual leaf thru the latest edition of Stand Up. Noticed that the in photo on pg 14 David Humphreys' plaque on the leg ends wall credits him with 143 Ulster caps. Is it not 163?

Time was that there was someone with all the definitive information on this site who could have confirmed your suspicions Merv. Still missed!

Has Ken gone yet, he maybe twinned his departure with great Ulsterman, Gerard Adams, legend.

Well they both hail from the same general part of town. So there could have been some sort of mutual understanding, although Ken was in the RA.

He's here to the end of the season according to Stand Up. The world wide search for a replacement still seems to be ongoing.
I'm wondering if Humphreys caps from the amateur era are not included in the figure on the wall? That would be somewhat ironic, given that those are the only appearances that are actually worthy of the term "cap".

When did that actually end, at UR?
