Thanks guys - I have a quote from the palce i stayed last time for about €60/night - just wondered how that compared with the competition. It seems the Tulip is the only place that is cheaper, but I hear they only have doubles left, and if you could see my travelling companion, you'd pay the extra for a twin room :) (in fact, my gut instinct says book a single!)

We're still finalising numbers, but possibly have space in hire car from Bordeaux on Thursday, returning Sunday.

Should anyone still need accommodation for Biarritz, this Hotel (**) emailed us today.

I pass the info on without any recommendation as I know nothing regarding Hotels in Biarritz.

As they emailed today to the Ulster Rugby Supporters Club Secretary address, it may be beneficial to mention us if you were to contact them. Seems like 50 euro incl cont. breakfast for a single with prices per person decreasing for doubles and triples. I have not even checked if they have a bar!

According to their on-line booking system...............3 nights is the minimun booking requirement.

Thought this was worth mentioning.
