International Ticket draw

Post by Cockatrice »

Can anyone confirm whether the supporters club draw for international tickets has been completed for the Ireland v Italy match this weekend as I have not heard anything.

Invoices were at home on return from Treviso CT.

Rooster- I thought that the winners names were to be posted on the website. That way the membership would be made aware that the draw had taken place and who had won.

For the Autumn games a URSC committee member, lets call him Stanley for clarity, phoned around to the winners of the draw to see if they wanted to take up the offer, if yes they were then invoiced by UR.
This time UR just invoiced the winners without consultation and no mention of when they had to be paid before or collected by.
And Freddie I havn't heard of my Scottish or Welsh tickets either :(
The Stanley involved was not the Stanley involved in Nolangate.

Rooster- From what you say the manner in which UR have made contact with you could lead to potential problems.

Could well do CT, if I did not want my tickets and did not bother contacting them how long would they keep them and would another URSC member get the chance of purchase :?
Bring back Stanley campaign is required, at least then we know it will be done properly and above board.

I couldn't agree more with bring back Stanley campaign providing it is the same one. He went to great lengths to ensure that the previous draw was carried out properly and keeping everyone informed.

As you now say how long would UR wait until they decided to simply offer the ticket elsewhere and if so do they remain within the URSC membership for which they were intended.
