Was talking to one of Pollock's best mates in the Bot the other night. Seems it's a real possibility that he might be taking a year out of medicine next year to concentrate on his rugby n see where it goes from there. It could all just be the ramblings of another drunk medical student however!

Got a big choice to make, personally I would like to see him stay on a development deal then take Dawson's the year after.

I think, speaking from the point of a medical student, it's easier to take the gap between 2nd and 3rd year than between 3rd and 4th due to the shift in course nature from mainly theoretical to mainly clinical between 2nd and 3rd year. Possibly why he's looking at this situation.
