I would call that a positive.
I can't see it but flip if there were ever a lad for demanding standards and injecting some steel it would be him.
I just checked his status as Racing.

If he could be attracted to join Ulster then I dare say he could attract players north, break down barriers so to speak. If the IRFU were behind this I would say someone had a brain.

With Munster making great strides under the current regime his return to Ireland may not be seen there by the IRFU and himself.

I'd be skeptical of any truth however.

It would be better for everyone if ROG didn't go back to Munster, same as Cullen should not have gone directly to Leinster, Doak here etc and work back McCall coming here first along with Clarke, then somehow we got shot of Clarke and then brought him back.
ROG and Jackman did it right and headed away first, coaching and game plans evolve and going back to your old patch tends to lead to getting stuck in a rut, this Dave Hewett rumour if true could be a good move for us but only if he is allowed to make changes to style etc.

This one seems more than a little far fetched to me.

ROG doesn't need a stepping stone back to Munster. If they ever have a vacancy and he wants the spot he'll get it.

Planet rugby also stating Rassie is being sought for the Bok's job, though he has denied it.

If that ever went ahead you'd assume ROG be game!

Not sure I'd want ROG here if it was an option.

O'Gara's single minded will to win would be welcome here.

He's contracted to Racing for two more seasons.

One more signing to come and I'm not remotely excited.

Say it ain't so KOTH, thought we were expecting a prop & a back row?
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
