Re: Leinster 2013/14
I thought there might be 1 away win this weekend and that Leinster might do it. Too big of ask in the end. Toulon are a frightening prospect, good luck to Munster.

They can only play 3 of them at a time and I'd take 1F and Chris. Armitage is a super player though.breakdown wrote:Scary to think next season Toulon will have Lobbe, Smith, Armitage, van Niekerk, Masoe, Rossouw, Gorgodze and Vosloo all as back row optionsRuss wrote:Having watched a game with Juan Ignacio Fernandes Lobbe this year I can safely say Toulon are not SarriesBig Smoke Culchie wrote:France's Saracens

Re: Leinster 2013/14
Did anyone else see the incident in which Toulon got a penalty which the referee called as a kick to goal not because the captain chose but because the water boy came on with the tee… as it was Armitage kicked it over from half way or so but it could have been very interesting if the game had been closer with Toulon needing the line out in the corner with say 2-3mins to go and in need of the points….

Re: Leinster 2013/14
close one for Leinster tonight. Strong side they had too!
Leinster: R. Kearney, McFadden, O'Driscoll, D'Arcy, D. Kearney, Gopperth, Boss, J. McGrath, Strauss, Ross, Cullen, McCarthy, O'Brien, Murphy, J. Heaslip.

Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'

Munster bounced that Edinburgh side last week and Leinster just scraped it with their first team tonight??

That has never been in doubt. I wouldn't say that Leinster are more than very slight favourites. If we have a couple of guys back, it's very much game on.Wee Woman wrote: We are in with a shout guys!

Sure we all know there's cracks being papered over. Just hope we can find a couple of thicker rolls before SaturdayOnce a Knight wrote:Yes, we are. Before we get too carried away I wouldn`t read too much into the Edinburgh game.
As we have seen time and time again the top sides know when to up the intensity levels when it really matters.
We are similar in that respect with displays against Cardiff where we were abject contrasting to a week later with the intensity we showed with 14 against Sarries in the big game.
Its not about sacrificing the lesser matches but more about producing on the bigger stage.
Therefore dont be deluded, for this week we will need to be at our very best to beat Leinster as they will have a completely different mindset and approach from last week.
We will be given nothing and will have to earn every point.
For the same reasons I would not be at all surprised if Munster turn over Glasgow on the back of losing to our reserves.

All bets are off once we get to the knockout stages.
